Gold Seal Certification is the highest standard for excellence in the management of construction. It is a nationally recognized certification for project managers, superintendents, estimators, foreman, construction safety coordinators and owner’s project managers.
Our special topic sessions and seminars allow you to enhance your professional development and gain the practical training needed to enhance your career and align your skills directly with the needs of the commercial and industrial construction industry.
Currently, due to COVID-19 all Centre of Excellence courses are available across the province or internationally through our distance learning platform. According to our hundreds of distance participants it is “easy to use and makes you feel like being there”.
The NLCA has partnered with the CCA and BuildForce Canada to offer E-Learning courses that can be completed at any time. Upon successful completion, all of them also award valuable Gold Seal credits.

The Association offers a wide range of scholarships each year to post-secondary students who have demonstrated excellence in their schooling and a commitment to their communities.
Annually we provide ten $1,000 scholarships and one $2,000 scholarship to students. The $2,000 “Lar Rossiter Memorial Award” is in recognition of our former President and CEO.
The NLCA also partners with Academy Canada Career College to offer ten $1000 “Future Prospects” scholarships to trades students attending that school.
Applications for 2021 will be available in September. Congratulations to our 2020 recipients!
